This stress management course is ideal for team leaders, supervisors and line managers who wish to reduce and manage work-related stress.

Course Aim

•  Learn how you can manage stress positively at work in order to improve performance
•  Learn a number of relaxation techniques to reduce the negative effects of stress
•  Identify ways of improving team performance by managing stress

Course Objectives

 By the end of this one day stress management training course, the participants will have:

• Understand positive stress
• Assess your own stress levels and identify the common causes in the workplace and at home
• Identify symptoms of burnout and overload
• Identify the most common effects of stress on your quality of life
• Identify the costs and benefits of dealing with stress 
• Change behaviours which add to stress
• Make changes to situations that that can lead to stress and identified ways to address work-related stress throughout the organisation
• Learn a number of relaxation techniques to reduce the negative effects of stress
• Develop positive responses to situations that can not be changed and Turn positive action into positive habits
• Develop strategies to prevent feeling overwhelmed
